Bon Jovi Takes API On TV Tour

Jon Bon Jovi's Engineer, Obie O'Brian, has purchased a lunchbox®, a few 550s and a 2500 for TV dates. The 80s rock sensation has kicked off Because We Can: The Tour, visiting a number of major US cities before heading abroad to Europe and parts of Africa. While on tour, Bon Jovi makes frequent television appearances, where the lunchbox, equalizers and stereo compressor will be used to smooth out the audio for those often frantic engagements.

No Shoes — But a 2500 on The Bus

Country music super star Kenny Chesney will carry two API 2500 stereo bus compressors on the No Shoes Nation Tour 2013. The 2500's, purchased from Danny Rosenbalm at Morris Sound and Light, are among API's most popular all-around products and have been used for many other tours such as 70s mega rockers, KISS. The No Shoes Nation Tour will hit major cities across the country and will also include Eric Church, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.

1608 Sales Hit Record High in February

API is pleased to report that February 2013 has been an outstanding month for 1608 sales. The production department is asking for overtime and there is now a waiting list for the small format consoles! The 1608 has been a huge hit within the recording industry and the demand is only growing, making this the most successful month since its introduction in 2008. "We don't expect to slow down either," says Mark Seman, API sales. "The 1608 is only getting more popular."
