API On the Convention Circuit at AES

The 137th international Audio Engineering Society Convention is coming to Los Angeles—and we at API are looking forward to seeing you there. The convention takes place from Thursday, October 9th to Sunday, October 12th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Come find us in booth 1219 and get your hands on the greatest analog recording and mixing gear the world has to offer, featuring the 1608, Legacy, and BOX consoles as well as some rack modules that are sure to have you drooling.

If you can't make it to the show but want updates in real-time, make sure to follow our twitter and the AES twitter /thisisAPIaudio and /AESorg. This year the convention is introducing an event called the "Live Sound Expo", developed by the editors of ProSound News and other NewBay titles. According to the AES website, the Live Sound Expo "offers expert advice for the broad spectrum of live sound engineers (some 25% of Convention attendees) with an emphasis on the practical, bringing professionals with decades of experience to the stage to inspire and educate attendees." The event will be hosted by industry journalist and engineer Mark Frink.

API reps have some exciting news of our own about the upcoming year in the pro-audio industry. But you won't hear about it unless you attend our press events peppered throughout the weekend. Check out the AES dailies for even more news on where we've been and where we're going —and the names big and small that are taking us there!
