Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, New York has both a 48 channel Vision and 1608 console in their Music Recording Department. When the school installed the Vision console in the spring of 2015, FLCC's Recording Studio Manager Bob Potter already had plans to add a 1608 console to the set-up. The school added the 16 channel 1608 one year ago and has just installed a 16 channel expander on that console, giving FLCC recording students 80 channels of API altogether.
"API's commitment to the educational market remains strong," says API Managing Director Gordon Smart. "We feel getting students on the best gear possible is critical for a career in professional audio, and we're honored to be a part of that process for FLCC students."
