API has just returned from the 2018 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The booth was bustling throughout the show, with attendees and audio pros from around the world eager to check out API's gear and talk with the team.

API debuted the new 529 Stereo Compressor at NAMM, which generated excitement as API's first ever dual slot 500 series module. The 529 takes many of the features and controls from API's famous 2500 Stereo Compressor and puts them into a 500 series format. API included a listening station for the 529 in our booth so attendees could try out the new module for themselves. Units will be available for shipping mid-February and we're already anticipating an onslaught of orders.

Also on display were API's 500 series modules and frames, rack mount products, and the 1608 and BOX console, along with the new TranZformer Series guitar and bass pedals. Roots blues guitarist (and shovel player) Justin Johnson returned to our NAMM booth for a second year to provide demos for the TranZformer Series and never ceased to fill the aisles.
