The same analog touch that makes country, pop, and even classical music shine can apparently also be applied to rap music. Joseph Hellow is the FOH Engineer on rapper Post Malone's current Beerbongs & Bentleys tour and recently spoke with FOH magazine about his set-up, where analog gear is key.
"Posty has a unique live feel and energy on every show, which enhances the fan experience," said Hellow. "One thing that sets us apart from most is analog hardware. My rack gear includes an API 2500."
Hellow adds, "We work together to ensure the sound is the best it can be every night, no matter what deficits stand in our way."
Malone just announced a fall stadium 'Runaway Tour' that runs from September to November.
