Recording Magazine's February Issue includes reviews of two API products: the 505-DI and the 565 filter bank. Both reviews have been added to our "product reviews" page for those of you who can't wait to see what writer Paul Vnuk Jr. had to say about each of these modules.

Highlights of the review include the following:

505-DI: "It works especially well on acoustic guitars, giving them a much-needed sparkle and string definition when recording direct. I like this definition on DI bass too, for when I want to hear the string plucks."

565: "Both filters are extremely smooth. Much of this smoothness is due to the fact that neither filter is a resonant/peaking filter like those found in many comparable units."
