One of our techs, Jordan Shirks, recently had the opportunity to represent API and JDK at this year's Boston Area Definitive Audio Student Summit, aka BADASS 2011. Hosted by the New England Institute of Art, this free one-day student summit hosted nearly 500 student attendees while providing access to multiple legendary producers and engineers such as Don Puluse (Sly & The Family Stone, Chicago), Sean Slade (Radiohead, Hole) and Jon Pines (Wilco, Eminem), as well as numerous demos, exhibitions, tutorials and workshops. Jordan told us that BADASS 2011 was a perfect way to meet both longtime and new API fans and let them hear a selection of audio files through the lunchbox® he brought along.
