MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta has recently purchased a 32 channel API Legacy Plus console. The console will feature prominently in the school's forthcoming studio.
David Kotch, Studio Designer and Owner of Criterion Acoustics is serving as the Principal Architect for MacEwan's studio.
"As an educational facility, MacEwan wanted to choose a brand that fits with their philosophy of how audio engineering should be taught," says Kotch. "The school strongly believes in API's brand, and in the analog console market, we fully believe API is the best out there."
Construction on the studio is now underway, and it is expected to be up and running by the Fall of 2017.
