API recently visited Sweetwater's headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN for a "product introduction session," where we introduced Sweetwater's 300+ sales engineers to the new TranZformer Series. Also present to provide demos for API was multi-instrumentalist Justin Johnson, who helped debut the TranZformer Series at NAMM in January.

Justin sat down at Sweetwater's video studio to shoot demos for the TranZformer GT Guitar Pedal, and the LX Bass Pedal. In the videos, Justin shows off the wide range of functions for each pedal, both of which incorporate API's traditional analog signal path to provide gain control, compression and equalization in one box. The TranZformer GT and LX both combine an API 525 feedback-type compressor with a 3 band equalizer, optimized for guitar and bass respectively.
