Crew Studios opened with a bang this month, sporting a sparkling new API 1608. The console was custom ordered with 8 550a 3-band Eq's and 4 560 ten-band graphic Eq's. The 1608 joins forces with the Vancouver, British Columbia studio's Avid D-Control to provide artists with seamless analog/digital recording and mixing.

"It really is the ultimate front end for any digital recording medium," Head Engineer Mike Cashin wrote of the API 1608.
