Van Halen is back, and API featured prominently in the making of A Different Kind of Truth. In the May edition of Sound on Sound, Truth's Engineer, Producer and Mixer Ross Hogarth took the magazine through the album's creation. With the assistance of API's 2500 stereo compressor, the 525 used in conjunction with LA2 for David Lee Roth's vocals, API's 550A and 550B for Eddie Van Halen's guitar and the 560 on drums, the album has already captured the number two spot on the U.S. charts.
