API is now accepting submissions for the twelfth annual API Saul Walker Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of API Co-Founder Saul Walker, who shared his passion for audio through teaching for many years. 2019 is a special year for Mr. Walker's legacy as it marks API's 50th anniversary as a company, and has now seen our beloved Co-Founder awarded a 2019 Recording AcademyTM Technical GRAMMY®.
The Saul Walker Memorial Scholarship is one way API gives back to the audio community, and encourages audio students to enrich their education through the use of analog gear.
The scholarship application consists of a short essay question, and a submission of the applicant's best audio work. Applicants must attend a higher education facility with an API console in order to qualify for the scholarship.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than May 3rd, 2019. Winners will be announced by June 28th. For more information regarding the scholarship, as well as the application form and a complete list of qualifying schools, please visit our Scholarships page.
