Every year the NAMM TEC Awards recognize innovative product design and excellence in audio and sound production, and API is proud to announce that our 550A EQ 50th Anniversary Edition has been nominated for a 2020 TEC Award in the category of Signal Processing Hardware (500 Series Modules).

The 550A 50th Anniversary Edition debuted at the NAMM Show at the start of the year and quickly made a splash and sold out at a record pace as an intricately hand-wired reproduction of the original Saul Walker design from the early 1970s.

API is thrilled for success of the 50th anniversary 550A and extremely honored by this recognition from the pro audio community. Online voting for the 2020 NAMM TEC Award nominees begins November 20, 2019.
