David Pinkston cut his first tracks in the 1970's on the original API console at Capricorn Records, working with legendary artists like The Allman Brothers. When it came time to build his own studio, Boomtown Recorders, in Tennessee, there was only one choice - the API 1608-II with Final Touch Automation.
