Even though we spent long days and short nights in the Asia Pacific region attending the Broadcast Asia and PALME India trade shows, we managed to squeeze in time to visit The School of Media and Infocomm Technology at Singapore Polytechnic. API Sales Representative Mark Seman joined Singapore Polytechnic's Senior Lecturer Neelesh J. Bhatia and Director Chad Batchelor to discuss the importance of analog audio in today's music industry. Talking points ranged from how to breathe life into a mix, how the analog recording process differs from the digital recording process and how API differs from other analog equipment. After the lectures, Mark gave a demonstration of API's renowned Channel Strip and had a Q&A session with students. It was a fantastic time and we hope to visit again in the future.
