API's new 2448 Recording and Mixing Console, which debuted at AES just two months ago, is already making a splash in the pro audio industry. The console is included on "The Mix List," Mix magazine's list of companies and gear to watch in 2019. The list highlights companies that are making a difference, and is based on the idea that "while technological development might happen at light speed these days, quality and innovation are timeless."

In the words of Mix magazine, "The recent introduction of the 2448 and the updated 1608-II in October 2018 further cements the company's dominance in the console market. They will sell a lot of them."
