Vintage sound meets modern technology in an article featured in Sonic Scoop about a 48-channel API Discrete Console wired to an iPad for controls. The late-1980's API Discrete Console, which was acquired from Kooster McAllister of Record Plant Remote and has now found its home at Downtown Music Studios in New York City.
"They'd get the best of both worlds: a beautiful analog console combined with the flexibility of a digital routing system," says Edward Dias III, the lead software developer at SongTrust, who played a major part in this project.
