The Killers are back in the studio, and their API 1608 is running full tilt. In Rolling Stone's June 7th edition, the band opens up about the challenges they've faced recording Battle Born, also the name of the studio where the API 1608 resides. The 1608 console was purchased by drummer Ronnie Vannucci in 2008, and used in the recording of their previous albums. The Killer's fourth LP is scheduled for release in the fall.
