One of our friends just sent us the link to this video of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures) giving a tour of his home recording studio, which houses an API 1608! Keep an eye out for the console around the 2:50 minute mark. Here, Grohl mentions that the new album was tracked (recorded) AND mixed on the 1608.
